Senior R&D Engineer - RF & Analog ASIC Design

The Wireless & Integrated Systems Division of CSEM is expanding and is looking for a:

 

The group is mainly active in developing innovative mixed-signal low-power ICs and short-distance wireless communication IPs. You will complete CSEM’s internationally recognized team of experts in the field of very low-power CMOS electronics.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work on high-performance developments for industrial customers as well as on longer-term applied Swiss and European research projects, in accordance with CSEM mission to bridge the gap between universities and industry. We are looking for a curious and motivated engineer willing to tackle today’s most advanced design challenges and work in a dynamic and innovative environment.

 

Your mission

  • Contribute to the design of integrated circuits, with an emphasis on wireless and timing applications, for both industrial and research projects

  • Take responsibility for the specification, design, simulation, layout, validation and characterization of analog and RF circuits

  • Participate in the architecture, design and verification at the system level

  • Work together with international customers and international universities and research institutes

  • Innovate, think out of the box, challenge yourself and help us define the future of the group

 

Your profile

  • MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (electronics, microelectronics, microtechnologies)

  • Several years of experience designing CMOS analog, mixed or RF ICs, with an emphasis on low-power

  • Proven track record and interest in designing new innovative solutions to real life-problems

  • Proficiency in using of industry-leading CAD tools (our main flow is Cadence, with Mentor tools available, as well as Matlab, etc)

  • Demonstrated team spirit and flexibility to ensure the success of projects

  • Competences in signal processing is an asset

  • Fluency in English; French or German is an asset
