As per 1st September 2021 until end of August 2022 (1 year) we are looking for a highly motivated team member for our Human Resources department at the company headquarters in Cham as an experienced

Human Resources Generalist (50 - 60%)

In this challenging and rewarding position your main responsibilities will among others include:

  • Providing effective operational-/business-partnering services through advice and support in all aspects of people and process-related matters for lower-level professional staff

  • Recruiting of the right talent - this includes developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and support line management in selecting top candidates

  • Creating, reviewing, and updating employee related documentations such as policies, procedures, process maps, internal guidelines etc.

  • Administration of the employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding/offboarding, social security, interface with L+G’s social partners, payroll, occupational health)

  • Preparation of payroll inputs and validation of payroll output

  • Drafting of employee communications to targeted groups

  • Responding to employee and manager queries

  • Participating in HR-related projects and programmes, initiatives, and organisational development

This position requires the following skills & experience:

  • A degree in Human Resources e.g., Federal Diploma of Higher Education (HR-Fachperson mit eidg. Fachausweis)

  • Additional qualification/education in Human Resources is a plus

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ professional work experience in a role as a generalist / specialist HR or as an HR Business Partner in a international environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to maintain robust relationships with the stakeholders

  • Self-starter, highly flexible, able to work under pressure and team-oriented personality

  • Process oriented and customer focused

  • Excellent languages skills in English and German, both written and spoken, any other language a plus
