Job Description

Open Web Technology has an immediate opening for an Support Engineer .NET in Lausanne with a minimum of 3 years of development experience.

As an Support Engineer .NET, you will be working with our Project Managers, Architects, Designers, and .NET Engineers to conceive, build and support applications and collaboration platforms for large enterprises. Turning client requirements into new fully functional applications will be a central part of your job.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach our project team and ensure high-quality standards

  • Track open tickets and proactively facilitate resolution with integration engineers

  • Investigate issues and provide solutions & workarounds for customers

  • Participate in the technical design of projects we create for our clients

  • Supervise and write efficient and reliable code; use best practices with our team

  • Organize and participate in code reviews


Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience with .NET 4.5+ (C# and VB) including Entity Framework

  • Strong experience in SQL (SQL Server / Oracle)

  • Experience with web technologies like JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular

  • Experience with VBA

  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Agile project methodologies

  • Strong team spirit, transparent communication, and self-management

  • Passion for Digital Technologies

Personal Requirements

  • Ability to work for and in a team

  • Excellent customer-facing abilities

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

  • Autonomous worker, able to work independently

  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skill

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and managing teams

  • At least C-level French and English (ideally French as mother tongue), German is a plus
