What you achieve

Your focus is on architectural design and on the development of the Swisscom platform NOVIS / UNITY DB using Java and PL/SQL. You design data structures and services. In addition, you identify weaknesses in the application architecture. Leveraging your experience in modernizing extensive software architectures, you create tailored solutions. Plus, you select suitable technical tools and technologies that meet our functional requirements. Thanks to your expertise, you coach team members. As a member of our Scrum Team, you also take over development tasks.

Why you succeed

  • Several years of experience as senior software engineer and architect

  • Very good knowledge in Java development as well as in cloud architectures and microservices

  • Advanced know-how in data management and processing with Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) as well as in building and developing modern APIs

  • In-depth understanding of web security and development with state-of-the-art web technologies (e.g. Angular2+)

  • Solution-oriented personality, experienced in communicating with different stakeholders

  • Very good English, German a plus
