  • Design and CAD of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Support mechanical engineering team in CAD and design document management
  • Draft technical drawings for the manufacture of components
  • Contribute directly to the design and development of our autonomous drone systems and support equipment
  • Assemble prototypes and assist with engineering-related workshop activities
  • Work in an agile and exciting engineering development environment, where you will quickly see the results of your work performing in front of audiences of thousands


  • Technician diploma, Fachhochschule, or Höheren Fachschule education in mechanical engineering / design
  • Proficient with SolidWorks, or experience with another CAD package and demonstrated ability to learn
  • Solid understanding of the process and limitations of injection moulding, CNC milling, and rapid prototyping
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical design principles, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Assembly
  • Comfortable with FDM 3D printers, laser cutter, drill press, torque drivers, general hand tools
  • 2-5 years experience in a product development environment
  • Track record of following products from design to industrialization
  • Comfortable working in English, written and spoken
