Senior Legal & Compliance Officer

Our “Asset Management – Legal & Compliance” team in Geneva is looking to add:

 

Senior Legal & Compliance Officer

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance;
• Legal research and provision of legal advice on various topics, including private equity;
• Writing, review and negotiation of contracts;
• Regulatory monitoring at Swiss and European level, particularly in the field of collective investment schemes;
• Drafting and implementation of internal guidelines and procedures;
• Tasks control and supervision of the application of internal procedures;
• Monitoring of regulatory obligations related to investment funds;
• Lead and manage projects in different areas (launch of new products, regulatory changes, etc. …), ensuring their follow-up and progress

 

Candidate’s Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial sector, private equity experience is a plus;
• Master of Law, Bar exam is a plus;
• Strong legal and regulatory knowledge;
• Good knowledge of all Office systems;
• Fluent in both French and English, basic level of German;
• Demonstrated leadership, ability to manage project and work independently;
• Good team spirit and flexibility.
