IoT Product Owner

Working with our innovative IoT Lab team in charge of our next generation of connected products and services, the product owner will establish and communicate the IoT strategy for his/her dedicated Business unit. He/She will also define the roadmap through the backlog (contents and priorities) and align R&D teams on data structure and content.
The product Owner will report to the IoT Product Development Director in BOBST Group Technology. He/She will be located in Mex (Switzerland) and will have frequent travels (Italy, Germany and UK).
You will join Group Technology, a transversal R&D department leading BOBST's digital transformation by supporting all Product Lines.
We are looking for a Product Owner with demonstrated can-do attitude, with a background in software development, and a proven track record under Agile framework. We are seeking a solution-oriented key actor with a digital mindset, able to define software solutions while understanding business needs and creating bonds with internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Establish with stakeholders an IoT vision & strategy for his/her dedicated Business Unit.
• Organize alignment of the IoT strategy with the multiple business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the others IoT Product Owners to build a coherent roadmap for the IoT projects/products.
• Collaborate in defining business models and ROI.
• Understand and translate the customers' needs/expectations into a backlog, understandable by the development team.
• Communicate to stakeholders about IoT program and roadmap.
• Follow the execution of IoT roadmap for his/her dedicated Business Unit.

Your professional experience

• Proven track record in product management (as product manager, product owner or business Analyst).
• Proven track record in working in agile methodology.
• Experience in digital transformation in a connected world, with all the related new mindset.
• Experience on area of IoT, cloud technology, data science.

• Clear business mindset with focus on delivering value to customers.
• Ability to understand and explain complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team oriented, able to work with multiple actors, in a multi-cultural and international environment.
• Open-minded, proactive, autonomous and with an agile mindset.
• Ability to travel (20-30%).

Your education and languages capabilities

• M.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field.
• Experience in product management, ideally in an industrial context.
• Proficiency in English, French an asset.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
