Investment Analyst / Engineer

We are therefore looking for someone who gets excited about financial markets and new ideas, has a sense of intellectual curiosity to ask powerful questions, and enjoys running various analyses and reports.

What you'll do

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze current and past financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular reviews and communicating the insights of these reports to the team
• Exploring different investment opportunities and drafting related content 
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Contribute to projects that span multiple teams and stakeholders
• Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth

What you offer

• Passion for the financial market and related investment solutions
• Domain knowledge: financial engineering, solid quantitative and derivative background, computer science, interest in trading strategies
• Languages: VBA, Python or similar
• Datastores: RDBMS, NoSQL is a plus
• Master in Mathematics, Physics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering
• Entry level or first experience in capital markets/hedge funds/asset management
• Analytical minded and strategic solutions oriented
• Detailed, rigorous and autonomous
• Have a bias to action, never be hesitant to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on
• Agile delivery experience, flexible and solutions oriented
• Keen interest in broadening your knowledge by taking responsibility for multiple subject areas within finance
• Have a can-do attitude and can take and execute decisions, in collaboration with your team
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French and/or German is a plus
