UX Designer for HMIs
Our transversal Group Technology R&D is looking a highly motivated UX Designer who has a passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for machines to help our Product Lines R&Ds transform all Bobst machines to a unified and user-friendly HMI.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HMI design and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
You will be working in an industrial environment with embedded equipment and closely partner with cross functional teams and experts in our organization.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices. The site offers an idyllic work environment. In the countryside and close to major highways, it is also well served by public transport. It offers many amenities, such as a corporate restaurant, sports fields, a fitness and a nursery. The facilities have been recently renovated and represent a model for sustainable development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HMI design and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
- Conducting user research
- Creating wireframes
- Moderation of design workshops
- Validating designs
- Provide support for the development teams
- Coordinating with internal R&D departments, other designers, the guideline team, and the development team
For this function you bring the following requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in UX Design
- Expertise in user-centered design
- Experience in HMI definition in the industrial context is a big plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with different teams and stakeholders
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent
- Very good spoken and written English and French. Further knowledge of German and/or Italian is an advantage
