SUSS MicroOptics develops and manufactures high-quality micro-optical components in Hauterive (NE) and Neuchatel and supplies customers worldwide in automotive, fiber-communication, semiconductor, medical and optics markets.
To strengthen our position in a fast growing business environment, we are looking for an experienced
Area Sales Manager
Your tasks
- Be the primary interface for customers in the assigned region.
- Generate steady revenue by identifying new and assuring the continuity of existing business opportunities.
- Identify market requirements and assure in collaboration with R&D that the right products are being developed.
Your profile
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field, i.e. optics, engineering or physics.
- Several years’ experience in a global sales team with international customers.
- Good understanding of optics.
- Ability to grasp technical topics quickly and explain them clearly.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, French and German are an asset.
- Ease in personal contact; excellent communication and negotiation skills, self-motivated and flexible.
- Ready to travel.
- Ability to work as an effective team player who is proactive and takes initiative.
