Industrial Engineer



Your Role

·         Bring our products from prototype to mass production

·         Keep up to date on the newest manufacturing methods and industrialization techniques and instill relevant methods and technologies at senseFly  

·         Act as the “glue” between our different departments: discuss technical issues with R&D (Hardware, Software, and Mechanical design), methods with Production, quality criteria with the Product Management team

·         Constantly be on the lookout for new suppliers and support conducting supplier audits

·         Lead technical discussions with supplier/EMS and assist Supply Chain management in make or buy decisions and other strategic procurement activities

·         Discuss day to day with supplier regarding potential improvement, issues and new methods

·         Ensure that lead time and quality requirements are well respected by suppliers and EMS

·         Manage quality issues for off-the-shelf and custom parts

·         Provide guidance and help solve technical issues on the production floor

·         Redact and maintain methods for production

·         Find ways to reduce the overall costs of production (including decreasing customer returns, decreasing scrap of components,  improving diagnostic tools for production)

·         Become the reference person for product life cycle management and new product integration



Your Profile


·         Bachelor in industrial engineering related field (masters degree a plus)

·         Excellent wirtten and spoken english (minimum level C1, Mandarin or other languages a plus)

·         A first experience in production, quality, manufacturing engineer is required (internships included)

·         Proficient at using the office suite and able to use an ERP
