For one of our clients, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a :

Product Development Project Specialist

Job description

Coordinate and/or contribute to product development projects

  • Understand business drivers
  • Proactively identify solutions
  • Build a project management structure
  • Liaise with all stakholders (Front, Advisory/DPM/Execution, Legal, Operations, Compliance, IT, etc.)
  • Develop and implement proper operating procedures
  • Organize change management

Lead and/or contribute to new activites or new products validation (NAC/NPC) and exceptional transactions (TAC)

  • Act as coordinator for Swiss WM TAC/NAC/NPC
  • Handle and prioritize requests from various business lines/markets
  • Identify sponsors and owners as well as potential road blockers
  • Coordinate different stakeholders within the bank and organize corresponding committee
  • Present reports to Top Management committee 
  • Write up minutes and follow-up conditions
  • Update the list of authorized products accordingly

Contribute to and/or lead transversal WM projects as Swiss territory level or International Markets level

  • Identify framework and rationale of projects (operational, regulatory, etc.)
  • Understand internal obstacles and constraints
  • Build a project management structure
  • Liaise with all stakeholders (Front, Advisory/DPM/Execution, Legal, Operations, Compliance, IT, Business Management, etc.)
  • Optimize existing workflows and maximize organizational leverage
  • Understand project impacts and pro-actively identify hurdles
  • Develop and implement proper operating procedures
  • Organize change management

Monitor certain processes and KPIs (it can be brokers used for the execution search providers, direct access clients, suitability risk scoring, execution errors, etc.)

 

Profile required

  • Master degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role within investment banking, private banking or asset management
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services 
  • Excellent team spirit and independent
  • Strong organisational skills, innovative and creative mindset
  • Resilience and problem solving
  • Ability to manage meeting, seminar, committee, training, etc.
  • Ability to manage a project and to develop and adapt a process
  • Fluent in English and French
