To reinforce the Procurement team of our Operating Company Nestlé Suisse SA, we are currently looking for a Local Strategic Buyer for Technical and Corporate Services procurement categories.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager for Services and Indirect Materials, your main responsibilities will be to understand, communicate and execute the implementation of global / regional sourcing strategies on a local level; and to develop, communicate and implement sourcing strategies for locally managed procurement categories.
Proactively understand the business needs and requirements within the assigned categories
Define and implement procurement strategies for the locally managed categories, utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Process tools
Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis and develop TCO understanding.
Gather data and business requirements and conveys local requirements to transmit them to Above Market Category teams for setting actions/strategies accordingly for regionally / globally managed categories
Liaise with suppliers as required to help with any supplier development, or supplier switch out activities as directed by category and/or sourcing teams
Integrate innovation and post award cost improvement elements from suppliers into Nestlé's innovation processes
Ensure effective contract management follow-up activities are in place
Ensure compliance to Nestlé's business principles, policies, standards and procurement policies
Min. Bachelor Degree in Purchasing/Business Management
Min. 3 years of professional experience in Procurement for Technical and Corporate Services categories (MRO Supplies and Services, Energy, Industrial Gases, Facilities Management, Mobility)
Good capacity to understand the technical specificities and needs of the stakeholders
Strong project management skills as well as excellent communication skills allowing you to adapt to your different stakeholders (Engineering and factory teams)
Comfortable to navigate in matrix organizations
Minimum a B2 level in German
