At Nestlé Research & Development Konolfingen, near Bern / Switzerland, we develop new products, processes and packaging concepts in the areas of Milk and Nutrition for Nestlé worldwide. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories around the world.
This position is within the Nestlé Technical Competency Unit (TCU), which is part of the Nestlé Product Technology Center Nutrition. Our mission is to nurture a Healthier Generation. We are looking for a motivated Engineering Specialist in Production Scheduling who will lead development and implementation of our production Scheduling tool (Technomatix). In addition, the role provides guidance to support implementation and technical assistance in factories.
Early and proactive development / maintenance of Technomatix library to enable simplified implementation in our factories
Setup of effective assessment and implementation tool to enable smooth implementation and commissioning
Ensure close collaboration with all relevant operational teams e.g. engineering/manufacturing/automation and supply chain
Drive industrial implementation in operation with effective (quality, cost and on time) and sustainable solutions
Build and document knowledge about latest developments and deployments in relevant field of activity
Participate in expert network to promote cross-fertilization between different sites
Min 5 years in a factory environment (good understanding of the operational needs)
