Senior Event Manager*in 80-100%

• Comprehensive planning, organization, execution, and follow-up of high-quality tech events at the Department of Computer Science at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Rotkreuz – you get involved, from large events to smaller formats
• Coordination and support of sponsors, speakers, as well as representatives from business, science, and politics
• Obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers
• Budget planning and controlling
• Staff management including professional leadership at the event
• Collaboration in the conceptual new development and further development of events
• Participation in various committees

• Higher education in event management or gastronomy and/or hotel management (university of applied sciences, hotel management school, or similar)
• At least three years of experience in organizing large events (1000+ participants), preferably in the technology sector
• Strong customer orientation with a high level of service awareness
• Process-oriented work with the highest quality standards
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Digital affinity
• Native German speaker as well as very good English skills
• Confident in using MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and high tool proficiency
