In 2020, the UEFA EURO will celebrate its 60th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, the tournament will be played across 12 different European cities - bringing the EURO closer to the fans and celebrating the best of European football and culture. To make this all possible, we need fantastic, dedicated people in every area.

The Accreditation Background Screening Assistant provides organisational and administrative support to the Accreditation Background Screening Coordinator and assists with background screening for the requirements of the EURO 2020â„¢ tournament.

EURO 2020 Accreditation Background Screening Assistant


* Assisting in planning, developing and implementing the background screening procedure in the host countries;

* Assisting the Background Screening Coordinator in organising the schedule and contacts, preparing documentation or presentations and making logistics arrangements for meetings and workshops;

* Assisting with data processing for the background screening procedures and liaising with the relevant local organising structure coordinators;

* Building strong relationships and liaising with the representative(s) of in-house and external stakeholders;

* Working closely with the whole Accreditation team at all levels to ensure a smooth, integrated process for all accreditation operations;

* Taking the lead in any Accreditation subproject delegated to them;

* Supporting the team and management as necessary and when required;

* Any other duties/events as defined by management.

Requirements: Experience required:

- from 1 to 3 years / in sports events (single sport an advantage)

- from 1 to 3 years / in a relevant field (in an international company/organisation a major advantage)


- Other in a relevant field


- English / Proficient

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills

- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively

- IT software packages and tools

- Experience with databases
