Position Summary

This position is based in our Nestlé Development Unit (NDU) Infant Cereals, where we develop new products and processes for Infant Cereal foods and snacks.

In this position, you will ensure quality and food safety by design by providing scientific and/or technical guidance to support projects in delivering - right first time - flawless, innovative and competitive products/processes, in response to business and consumer needs.

A working day in a life of a Senior Quality Specialist Infant Cereals

  • Provide support to projects assigned, ensuring quality and food safety by design since the early stages of the development
  • Ensure on-time delivery of key information/documents
  • Present results/methods in written and oral form to interested parties or visitors
  • Build and document knowledge about latest quality and food safety topics relevant to the IC product category
  • Provide accurate and on-time support to operations with effective (quality, cost and on-time) and sustainable solutions
  • Give operational support to customers, assistance in industrialization start-ups, follow-up product launches
  • Develop and/or update standards and guidelines based on business priorities, using latest knowledge, methods, standards, trends and ensure roll out to factories
  • Provide trainings to the global IC community in the field
What will make you successful

  • Degree level in a related field (Food Technology; Engineering; Manufacturing; Quality)
  • Up to date knowledge of quality, safety and hygiene requirements for Infant Cereals
  • Minimum 3 years of operations/factory experience in Infant Cereals
