Our client is an Independant Asset Manager investing in listed and non listed asset classes. As successful growth is leading to new needs. We are looking for an :

 

Operation Analyst - Back-Middle Office

Within a team of skilled professionals, your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure data accuracy and quality on an ongoing basis
  • Daily pricing of all instruments
  • Manage whole operational processes (including corporate actions) relating to the lifecycle of the following instruments: Listed, OTC derivatives, ETD, Forex
  • Contribute to the operational processes relating to: Hedge funds, Private Equity
  • Manage transactions lifecycle, in particular confirmation, payment, settlement
  • Produce daily reconciliation and month-end analysis (cash, securities and outstanding positions)
  • Handle collateral management and processes daily margin calls
  • Guarantee and ensures the proper execution of transactions
  • Report relevant and timely information
  • Understand the business workflows as well as the specific business needs through a proactive approach with users
  • Challenge routines and existing processes
  • Build and maintains good contact and collaboration with internal and external parties
  • Analyse and provides support to solve issues
  • Operational system setup
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects

Required Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a middle office and/or generalist back office role with genuine exposure to different asset classes
  • Sound knowledge of listed and non listed asset classes across the board
  • Good understanding of IT Tools
  • Knowledge/use of Swift, as well as Bloomberg are strong plus
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Agility in managing multiple tasks in parallel
  • Good oral and written communication skills in French and English
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deals with priorities and deadlines
  • Strong will and enthusiasm in dealing with complex activities
  • Open minded, ready to take proactive responsibility and accountability on all aspects of role
  • Proactive team-player with positive mindset and can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills
