Description

As part of a large programme of harmonisation and improvement of supply chain processes at global level a core team is being recruited. The target is to design, build and roll-out a lean global ERP template, which will be the backbone of core business processes (Master Data, Planning, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing (including Quality), Order to Cash and Record to Report).

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Lead reporting to Programme Leader. This position has a direct line management responsibility of the Process Expert and the System Expert.

The process stream 'Manufacturing' covers these core processes: Production Order Management, Quality Management, Production Master Data, Production Cost management and accounting, Plant Logistics and Inventory Management.

The main challenge for the 'Manufacturing' stream is to transform data into an asset and based on that drive performance and efficiency. The target is to harmonise production and quality processes and have better data analytics to improve process control, resource utilisation and quality indicators.

Core responsibilities:

  • Overall accountability for the 'Manufacturing´ process stream across the complete life cycle of the programme: process area vision, design, validation, solution architecture, process and system template build, data migration and roll out. This includes planning and management of project resources and deliverables according to the project timeline
  • Gathering and definition of business requirements as source of the of the process design
  • Management of internal stakeholders mainly in Finance, Supply Chain and HR to ensure support and commitment to the programme
  • Leadership and coaching of the process stream team
  • Management of the relationship with external service providers with regards to alignment on the process design and solution architecture

Profile

We are looking for a senior professional with a combination of experience and expertise in three core areas:

1. Best in class industry process knowledge. Deep understanding of manufacturing and quality process, particularly in the information flow related with material management, inventory and production parameters for example production costs. Experience in designing and implementing relevant processes is a plus

2. Previous experience in a complex ERP implementation combined with a solid understanding of supply chain related information systems, including the design, building and integration of systems, preferably within an international environment. Deep knowhow of production / material management modules of any common ERP like SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

3. Project Management expertise

In addition we expect:

  • Ability to communicate well with senior business leaders and stakeholders and ability to switch easily between process/system terminology and business language
  • Proactive, high energy, motivated and performance-oriented personality
  • Background in the consumer industry or similar (high volume bulk production and discrete packaging), preference for a background in the food industry
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential, any other language is an advantage.
