Reporting directly to the Vice President Head of IT, the IT Director will implement the IT strategy within his scope and sustain the IT needs of the organization.

Responsible for a small team of two-three IT technicians and experts, he will enable the organization to be innovative, intelligent and adaptive to change as well as to achieve the business objectives such as high system availability, process improvement, increased levels of automation. He or she will also contribute to higher company's profitability and efficiency, reduced operational costs and increase customer satisfaction.
Main functions and responsibilities:
Implement IT Strategy, liaising with the WW HQs in the United States and ensure alliance with the strategic goals and objectives.
Drive and mentor projects to ensure timelines and milestones are achieved.
Participate and coordinate with internal teams for process harmonization, governance and execution of projects.
Simplify current IT architecture and deal with different ERP
Implement IT tools, such as virtualization, network infrastructure, backup & restore to anticipate and meet strategic and operational needs.
Review, adapt and monitor implementation of IT policies. Ensure teams follow adherence to policies and comply with audit guidelines. Implement IT standards.
Implement cost effective IT solutions (integrate, rationalize Infrastructure and Software licensing contracts).
Evaluate IT security risk and maintain IT security posture on continuous basis. Implement and manage Enterprise security tools.
Hands on experience managing networks, firewalls, servers and other technology infrastructure.
Working knowledge of Azure Cloud including the management, support, and oversight of the virtual server environments and business continuity processes.
University degree in Information Technology (or related fields)
Minimum of ten years' experience, ideally within the Life Science industry.
Experience in infrastructure management and application a plus
English and French.
