The Associate Manager Warehouse is responsible of the warehouse activities for efficient receipt , storage , shipping of pharmaceuticals goods. He/she has also the responsibility to organize and manage the activities of the sampling area for all the incoming raw materials. All activities will have to be realized in the observance of the regulation cGMPs, FDA, of the hygiene rules, and safety. She/ he will have to conform to the procedures defined by the quality system, and also to apply these procedures and rules to the personnel attached to his responsibility zone. In this role you will: be in charge of the daily management of the warehouse team and sampling team ( planning communication, team organization , control, checking of the defined targets) Manage the warehouse activities compared to the logistic requests, in order to ensure activities on time Be in charge of the management of the sampling activities compared to delivery planning and Quality control requests , in order to ensure sample delivery on time Ensure training conformity of warehouse and sampling team Conduct investigations into warehousing and sampling deviations , develop and implement remediation plan Ensure participation of health authorities audit (i.e. FDA, Swiss medic, EMEA...), and internal audit Control and complete all pre-establish documentation to ensure traceability of operations carried out ( sampling record; goods receipt recods…) Be in charge of drafting of Standard Operating Procedure, and also working procedure linked to the area of responsibility Conform to the directives and instructions defined in the pharmaceutical site quality system Support and Participate to any development project executed on the warehouse and sampling area .( ie new equipment , sampling methodology) Coordinate improvement or development process linked to warehouse and sampling area Apply risk management techniques and/or participate to risk assessment/analysis group linked to packaging process Be in charge of the definition, implementation of the KPI related to his scope of responsibilities Apply and respect GMP requirement, Hygiene, Safety and Environment rules during packaging activities Provide a safe and healthy work environment for their staff in areas under their control, and shall ensure compliance with relevant rules and legislation in those areas Work closely with EHS to evaluate hazards and perform risk analysis Ensure that staff(including short duration and temporary contracts) is properly informed on hazards, and trained to act in consequence Promote safe practices and behaviours, verify that EHS rules are implemented and respected Report immediately all incidents and near-misses to EHS, participate in investigations and identify preventive measures to prevent similar accidents in the future Your Profile: Bachelors Science degree At least 5 years of previous supervisory experience in pharmaceutical industry, ideally in Warehouse or Production activities Strong working knowledge to ensure compliance with applicable regulations i.e cGMP, FDA Organized and rigorous, able to provide leadership and coaching to the warehouse team in order to maintain an environment of trust and personal accountable.
