The World Council of Churches (WCC) is an ecumenical fellowship of churches founded in 1948. The Ecumenical Institute (EI) at the Château de Bossey is fulfilling its mission of ecumenical theological formation and education. With its holistic way of education - which combines academic research, cross-cultural learning through life in community, spiritual experience, exposure to and encounter with other faith communities, the Ecumenical Institute continues to have a special place and vocation in ecumenical formation today.
The EI is delivering Complementary Certificate (CC) in Ecumenical Studies, Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Ecumenical Studies, and Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Ecumenical Studies and is attached to the University of Geneva. It is currently looking for an:
For “English as a Tool for Ecumenical Formation: Intensive English Summer Course” taking place from 3 August 2020 until the beginning of the autumn semester early September, to enhance the English language proficiency of those students needing to improve their English language skills before the beginning of the academic year 2020/2021.
In particular, the English Teacher will have to:
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3 years of experience especially in teaching English as a second language.
Knowledge of other languages (Spanish, French and German) is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
