Internship Group R&D - REMOTE sensing of material movement
The context and our expectations:
Inspection and control systems are becoming more and more prevalent on BOBST machines and they often need to know the dynamic position of the packaging materials we are transforming. At the same time the performance characteristic of these systems has increased, straining traditional measurement techniques to breaking point. Furthermore we realise that some of the techniques used in the past have led to onerous mechanical solutions and significant cost savings might ensure from a different solution.
Accorrding to the above, you will review few different promising technologies (Laser Surface Velocimeter, optical mouse, etc...) in order to advance with an initial prototype.
You are creative and interested to learn from/with experienced engineers.
You enjoy seeking solutions proposed in the industry by contacting various suppliers, but also working on a multi-technology prototype (technologies impacted - optics, sensors, fpga programming, digital image processing etc.).
French (Advanced or Mother Tongue)
In case one of the above mentioned internship is of interest, please do not hesitate to send us your CV and motivation letter ASAP.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
