Based in Switzerland (flexible), the Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead recruitment activities on assigned projects often business-critical and/ or leadership roles, will manage external recruitment agencies (when appropriate), and will also provide research, sourcing, and pre-qualification support as needed for other recruitment projects. This role will focus on Germany and Switzerland but also support other regional projects.

Our client is an international pharma company with an important presence in Switzerland and unique and highly innovative solutions improving their patients lives. We are looking for an experienced TA specialist (ideally pharma experience) with German who can support our clients recruitment efforts in Germany and Switzerland as well as regional projects. The role should start as of January 1st 2021 and would be for a minimum of 12 months, if there is a match on both ends the role can become permanent.

Description

Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Talent Acquisition Leads/Partners, People and Culture Leads/Partners, and Hiring Managers in the respective country or team:

  • Manage end-to-end the Sourcing and Selection process to hire the best talent through a diverse channel mix
  • Conduct an intake meeting with the hiring manager providing guidance and advice on the appropriate TA strategy
  • Directly initiate contact with both active and passive job candidates as assigned for specific searches utilizing appropriate sourcing methods
  • Conduct pre-screening phone/ video calls and face to face interviews
  • Make effective assessments of candidates' skills/ experiences and appropriate interview/ hiring recommendations
  • Manage the review, pre-qualification, and distribution of incoming resumes submitted via website and other sources
  • Articulate the companies' value proposition and take all necessary steps to provide a positive candidate experience
  • Train HR Manager and Hiring Managers on TA systems, interview techniques and other TA methodologies where appropriate
  • Support projects and proactively help to having the best possible processes in place

Profile

  • University Degree in a relevant field (business, HR, ..)
  • Min. 5 years in an HR and/OR talent acquisition role - experience with inhouse TA would be a plus, a mix of internal and external TA or HR with TA is a possibility
  • Full fluency in German is a must - very good English is needed
  • Experience in the pharma industry is a strong plus - otherwise strong motivation and interest to learn more about the field of pharma/biopharma
  • Demonstration of a strong track record of providing in house sourcing, pipeline building and selection of talent at all levels of an international organization preferably with a regional scope
  • High quality handling and solving of customer queries and problems
  • Self-starter, customer focus, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, strong negotiation skills, pro-active, learning agility
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new information and translate into actionable recruitment-related strategies and activities
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, functions, and cultures/ geographies as a basis for developing sourcing strategies and talent acquisition plans
  • Works effectively in both individual and team-based settings and projects
  • Extensive experience of using direct sourcing channels like social networking sites
  • Experience working with candidate/ recruitment management systems
  • Formal interview/ selection training experience preferred.
