Position:
Are you an experienced trust and fiduciaries specialist seeking a fresh challenge at a senior level, as well as a STEP member?   

Reporting to the Business Unit Director, this is a broad role for an experienced Trusts Manager/Senior Wealth Planner, not only working on a complex caseload, but also helping to manage the team and doing business development.

With a few thousand employees worldwide, the Geneva office is a close-knit small and cohesive team.    You will be part of a dynamic group who provide world-leading, specialized administration services to clients in over 30 jurisdictions.   There is also a large, approved partner network to tap into which covers a further 100 jurisdictions.

Being part of this institution, you will be integral within it and able to help empower businesses of all sizes, wherever they are in the world.  An attractive employer to join therefore.  Managing a team of specialist relationship managers who cater specifically for the needs of wealthy families, family offices and owner-managed businesses, you will also yourself be managing a portfolio of private wealth clients covering a variety of foundations, trust and offshore structures.  

The daily tasks will include but not limited to:
  • Ensuring the team follows the 24 hours response policy as well as the appropriate organization and welcome of clients during client meetings
  • To monitor and ensure clear, efficient and professional communication between team members and third parties.
  • To take ownership in maintaining the relationship with existing clients and intermediaries
  • To take and lead initiative to get prospects’ and intermediaries’ meetings and attend such meetings and present at them
  • To reach the yearly sales target defined and ensure execution of the Commercial Business Plan and Annual Budgets
  • To participate in business trips for visiting existing clients, intermediaries and new potential clients
  • Manage the planning and activities, as well as define specific objectives and scope of work to be done and ensure that the services delivered to the clients are in accordance with the Group's standards
  • Monitor and review the administration of the Foundations, Trusts and offshore client entities
  • Ensure pro-active participation in the cash collection of the outstanding invoices by the team
  • Be actively involved in team members’ training and coaching as well as participating in the annual appraisal, promotions, goal settings and development process of the Legal & Corporate sub-team
  • Collaborate with the team to manage a portfolio of private wealth clients, covering a variety of trust, foundations and offshore structuress
  • Act as a technical expert on client structures, including any regulatory requirements that are applicable
  • Experience mentoring/managing others preferred 
  • Ensure the proper set-up of new Trusts, foundations or offshore client companies or as the case may be the transfer in from another service provider
  • Ensure the proper opening of the bank accounts of the client company
  • Review and sign-off the drafting and/or review of foundation and/ trust administration documents
  • Support the team with answering complex legal & trust matters and queries
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of the master files (completeness, accuracy, updating etc.)
  • Administer own portfolio of Trusts, foundations and offshore client companies
  • From a Compliance perspective, ensure timely acceptance of clients in accordance with the “Client Acceptance” process and timely periodic review of clients
  • Participate actively in risk management and compliance actions
  • Ensure active transaction monitoring of the companies in the Unit in accordance with the “Transaction Monitoring” process
Profile:
  • Minimum of 8 years'+ relevant experience in a Trust Administration environment
  • STEP membership required
  • University degree or professional studies in Trust administration or an equivalent level gained through relevant professional experience
  • Good attention to detail and someone who is a technical expert with foundations, trusts and offshore structures
  • A broad understanding of the wide range of fiduciary products
  • Committed and driven to achieving excellence; ideally having people management experience as a plus
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. French is a strong asset
  • Swiss residence preferred and already working in the local area ideally or willing to relocate to the Geneva area at your own cost
