Position:
As a member of the Financial Reporting and Oversight team, you will oversee the internal control system specific to the Finance department and provide support for financial publication and regulatory reporting activities.  The Corporate Functions division brings together the Group's non-banking activities (HR, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Tax etc). 

Your role, will include, but not limited to:
  • Development and supervision of the Internal Financial Control System (SCI) of the Swiss Bank and the Group and strengthening of the consolidated supervision exercised by the Group as regards the Finance departments of the Group's banks abroad
  • Management and monitoring of organizational projects aimed at strengthening the processes of the Finance department. These projects concern the automation of certain processes or the taking into account of new regulatory developments of the banking group
  • Development of business expertise relating to the operational, financial and accounting impacts of banking activities and more particularly those related to the field of derivatives
  • Contribution to the quality of financial publication and regulatory reporting of the Swiss Bank and the Group through the development and strengthening of our client's reporting platform for both internal and external use
 
Profile:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in bank auditing, Big 4, consulting or in the finance department of a bank
  • Audit experience a plus and relevant banking financial analysis, internal control,  regulatory and accounting expertise
  • University Education; Swiss chartered accountant diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment applicable to banks. In particular in terms of: Swiss accounting regulations for banks, Swiss and international requirements relating to regulatory requirements in terms of capital and liquidity requirements; and accounting schemes governing banking transactions (in particular for derivatives)
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - allowing you to constantly develop and improve the processes for which you will be responsible 
  • Flexible and motivated, you know how to communicate and share your knowledge
  • An independent team player, you are curious and innovative in nature, you will be able to identify, analyze and solve complex problems, multi-tasking on various projects
  • Knowledge of banking software (Avaloq an advantage)
  • Knowledge in data management and organization (Access, SQL a plus)
  • Excellent command of Excel and very good knowledge of other office and IT tools (Powerpoint, Tableau etc)
  • Excellent level of English; German a very strong plus
  • Residence in Switzerland required
