Position:
Are you a client services specialist with good exposure to fund onboarding,  negotiating legal agreements as regards funds, dealing with pricing, expenses, fees and flow/liquidity issues?  Do you have strong communication/negotiation skills with good attention to detail?  If you are looking for a fresh challenge, this could be just the job! 

Working in the Investor Services Team within the fund platform, you will mainly be responsible for directly supporting the the transfer agency investors transacting into our client's Funds. This will entail assisting in account openings, oversees daily fund activity and the outsourced transfer agency service provider.  You will also leads the onboarding of new investors/clients, including coordinating the drafting, negotiation of relevant legal agreements.

The role also includes that investors’ and internal client queries are answered in a consistently prompt & professional manner, with the overall objective to deliver the highest service level to internal and external clients.

Joining a well-established, experienced team, this role has been opened due to continued growth of the assets of their Luxembourg-domiciled and other funds.   Working closely with their Luxembourg office fund administration team, you and the Geneva-based investor services team are primarily responsible for servicing the client's fund investors (namely client contact with the financial intermediaries' operations experts - such as banks), managing funds infrastructure and fund dealing as well as overseeing financial intermediaries distributing the funds and the outsourced service providers, notably the transfer agencies.  You will report to the Investor Services Team Manager.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Facilitating new account opening process and monitoring of the completion of the KYC process (done by the transfer agent in Luxembourg)
  • Monitoring the cash flow and liquidity management as well as other areas such as distribution agreements
  • High levels of servicing to existing and prospective investors, monitoring and manage investors' dealing activity as well as trade reports and analysis thereof
  • Leads and/or monitors new investor on-boarding including coordinating the drafting, negotiation and ultimate signature of legal agreements and completion of AML requirements
  • Monitoring and sharing information regarding quality of service delivery
  • Monitors and manages investors’ dealing activity
  • Participate actively as a subject matter expert or project manager representing the Client Operations team 
Profile:
  • Around 4-6 years' experience in a similar role  - either from client services, investor services or advisory - from either funds, asset management or private banking
  • A solid experience in financial products and the asset classes
  • Relationship manager and fund onboarding experience 
  • A passion for the business with a first-class customer service and client-oriented mind set a must
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial industry, client services and ideally in mutual funds
  • Ability to manage complex issues by being solution oriented and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Able to trouble-shoot, resolve issues and come up with solutions
  • Curious, pro-active and able to work in a team but independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - fluent English a must.   Otherwise languages useful but not a must
  • In possession of a valid, work permit and already based in the Geneva area (frontalier ok)
