Consultant Digital Workplace
Adoption & Support
Provide 1st and 2nd level support to support tickets received via Service Now or other channels.
Maintain and Manage Digital Workplace Network including updating Teams channels; backend SharePoint site and knowledge base for chatbot.
Provide advisory guidance on tools and features within the Digital Workplace Portfolio
Test new digital tools or features for relevance/benefit to organization; Coordinate UAT; Propose adoption and roll out planning for these.
Prepare and give training programs to support end users in the adoption of new and existing tools in the digital workplace portfolio.
Small scale solutions
Develop and demonstrate proof of concept models using digital tools: Power Automate; PowerApps or other as determined by the use case presented. Further develop and support implementation of accepted POC.
Building customized workflows to support the automation of routine tasks and activities.
Prepare change request for review by the Change Architecture Board (CAB); implement or ensure implementation of approved changes.
Draft supporting documentation including Standard Operating Procedures and other governance documents.
Develop PowerShell scripts for reporting and other scenarios required for the ongoing governance and support of Microsoft Teams and other products.
Develop and implement Microsoft Teams’ lifecycle policies and processes – including retention, archive, delete and guest user membership.
Monitoring Microsoft 365 changes, including monitoring the Message Centre and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken.
Assist in preparation of monthly activity and usage reports.
Shared Services & Collaborative Solutions
Support business units requiring customized SharePoint needs (ex: highly confidential sites; complex accessing permissions, Discussion board etc..)
Support migration of data from/to SharePoint sites
Microsoft list building and maintenance Adobe E-sign
Support business units requiring additional assistance with agreement templates and workflows
Management and escalation of support cases with the vendor
Support the integration of connectors and the API across different IT teams, especially application services
Develop and maintain support documentation and training materials for the platform
Increase awareness and adoption of platform features across all business units
Support the integration of Meeting / Conference and Booking systems with other applications and platforms like MS Teams
Increase awareness and adoption of Meeting / Conference and Booking systems features across business units
Other tasks as directed by the IT Infrastructure Services, Manager; Lead, Digital Workplace Initiative or Service Delivery Officer: Shared Services & Collaborative Solutions
Microsoft 365; PowerPlatform (incl: PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Power Virtual Agents); SharePoint; Teams; Azure AD; PowerShell; Adobe E-sign;
Knowledge and experience with ITSM (ServiceNow)
Relevant Microsoft Certifications
Experience in Change Management
Experience with Workplace Analytics
