Job Description
As the Human Resources Manager (HRM) of the Diagnostic Department (D-DIAG), you actively participate in the management of the department and the respect of the allocated budget, in close collaboration with other members of the Management Committee and the entire departmental staff, under the responsibility of the department head.
You are responsible for supporting and accompanying the management team in developing their teams' strategy, notably by developing innovative and adapted HR actions with them.
You lead HR development both in terms of HR processes and projects and aspects related to individual personnel management for a group composed, among others, of very specific professions within the hospital (radiology staff, laboratory staff, etc.).

Thanks to your leadership, you are able to provide HR advice and a strategic vision to the management of your audience, including 9 heads of medical services. You personally engage and support teams and managers, contributing to resolving complex situations and leading ambitious changes.
You manage various individual situations in compliance with the institution's HR policy and applicable rules. Additionally, you ensure the management of different professional stages and the life cycle of employees such as recruitment, professional mobility, training, performance evaluations, or return to work.
You demonstrate listening and empathy while upholding values of fairness and objectivity. Your negotiation skills allow you to develop constructive relationships with social partners.
Endowed with a strong team spirit and great curiosity, you enjoy going into the field, networking, collaborating with various professionals of the D-DIAG and with the different HR expert services (administrative management, remuneration, recruitment, mobility, training) to ensure harmonization and efficiency in the management of the department's and transversal HR processes. You show rigor and organizational skills in your daily administrative management.
You are a structured, constructive, and creative person in your analyses and actively participate in the transformation of HR within the D-DIAG and HUG. You position yourself as a promoter and agent of change by focusing on pragmatic solutions and continuous improvements. This allows you to be a driving force in supporting the department in enhancing and attracting unique professional sectors within the institution.
Your communication skills and collaborative spirit enable you to evolve within your department while developing strong ties with your peers from other departments as well as with the Human Resources Directorate and its various services.
Qualifications
With a university education, you also hold an advanced degree in human resources. You have at least 7 years of confirmed experience in the human resources field and excellent knowledge in this area. To meet this challenge, your curiosity, strong client orientation, and ability to carry out large-scale projects allow you to understand and quickly respond to the needs and constraints of your interlocutors. Naturally flexible, you adapt easily while maintaining your course and the ability to communicate it effectively.
You demonstrate dynamism and develop collaborative approaches, enjoy teamwork, and know how to communicate your enthusiasm. A credible manager with interpersonal skills, you lead by example and know how to motivate, unite, and mobilize teams.
