Pricing Manager 80 - 100%
The Pricing Manager plays a key role in the transformation of SPAR Switzerland towards a data-driven, AI-supported price and assortment management. The position is responsible for the implementation of the pricing tool and the design of all associated organizational and procedural changes. As a central interface between price strategy, assortment management, and operations, it ensures the implementation of the corporate strategy into systematically controlled pricing rules and is the main contact for external service providers.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the further development of the AI-supported pricing tool, the transition to automated processes, as well as the coordination of external partners and ensuring data quality
- Definition and implementation of pricing policies, repricing processes, and governance structures, as well as development of reporting and monitoring frameworks
- Support of assortment management with pricing rules, analyses, and training on tool usage
- Collaboration with purchasing, controlling, IT, and store operations for the operational implementation of repricing processes
- Analysis of price strategy, KPI monitoring, and preparation of decision templates including simulations
Your profile
- Completed studies in business administration, economics, finance, or comparable education
- 3–5 years of professional experience in pricing, assortment management, or retail analytics
- Very good analytical skills as well as experience with data-based tools (BI systems, pricing software); knowledge of AI-supported systems is an advantage
- Solid understanding of retail KPIs, P&L mechanics, and price elasticities
- Strong problem-solving skills, process understanding, and communication skills for collaboration with various departments
- Structured, assertive, and solution-oriented working style as well as high willingness to learn and change management competence
