MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Based between Bern and Zürich

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will develop and support the implementation of the local medical strategy, and implement the scientific communication plan. Your objective is to establish the leading product as a complementary healthcare solution for general practitioners, gastroenterologists and pediatricians.

Two therapeutic areas are a priority: management of irritable bowel syndrome and antibiotic use.

You will provide marketing and sales with strong medical arguments and tools to position your health solutions as a solid reference in complementary medicine, and recruit KOLs in the main cities of Switzerland to create prescriber networks.

Preferably based in the German speaking part of Switzerland, with regular travel to the headquarters in Geneva, you will have a medical and scientific background, or a commercial background with solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You have at least 3-5 years of local professional experience in a related function, in particular in the dietary supplements/OTC/nutrition sector, and you know its players and key events.

You have a strong network with priority targets and your persuasiveness allows you to promote food supplements (no health claims allowed, no reimbursement). You have very good interpersonal skills and a desire to improve patient care.
