Description

Consolidation Activities:(50%)
Participate in the consolidation activities at mid-year and year-end,with the consolidation manager as support:
-Preparation / update of Financial Package forms for consolidation. reporting and closing instructions
-Preparation of Journal entries at consolidation level with appropriate documentation in the view of external audit
-Preparation of the group financial statements & related disclosure notes
-Maintenance of group accounting policies, understand their potential impacts on the business, communicate to operating and finance management
Reporting Activities:(30%)
Participate in the monthly closing activities (management reporting) on various areas, with the reporting team members:
-Monthly inter company reconciliation process in SAP-BPC:with the Reporting team, ensure monthly inter company transactions are accurately reported and reconciled, provide accounting guidance, update related Group policies in the Finance portal, prepare related journal entries at consolidation level with proper documentation
With reporting team members, participate in the monthly reporting process:
-Participate in the review of monthly reporting package, with focus on certain balance sheet & P&L items to ensure completeness and quality of the submitted data, provide support to the companies during the monthly closings
-Prepare, review and publish Group reports, maintenance of reports with updates from top management/business needs
-Preparation of performance & ad-hoc analysis
SAP-BPC Administration Activities: (20%)
As 'super-user'of SAP-BPC, participate in IT projects: enhancement of current application following project plan with development, tests and production phases.
Other:
Participate in various projects linked to Consolidation (around accounting policies and reporting guidelines, chart of accounts, management reporting structure…)

Profile

• Swiss Federal Diploma in accounting or Bachelor / Master's degree in Accounting (& Finance)
• Fluent in English (min C1), French is a plus
• Accounting and financial reporting background
• Former work experience in an audit firm
• Knowledge of a reporting/consolidation tool as SAP-BPC is a plus
