Job description
As a nurse, you play an essential role by providing personalized reception and follow-up, fostering a relationship of trust with each resident and their relatives, thus creating an environment where kindness and professionalism are inseparable.
You ensure the continuity and quality of personalized care by supervising and coordinating services in accordance with applicable standards, best practices, and the values of our institution.
You assess care needs, define and implement adapted strategies in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, thus ensuring comprehensive care supporting life projects.
You support residents in sensitive moments, especially at the end of life, with an approach full of humanity and respect. You provide reliable oral and written handovers and rigorously keep computerized records up to date.
You contribute to team dynamics, supervise and support ASSC, ASA, and nursing assistants, exercising benevolent leadership that promotes cohesion and collective reflection.
Finally, you intervene effectively in emergency situations and participate in the implementation of resident support projects within an interdisciplinary approach.
Profile sought
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent nursing diploma recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.
- Previous experience in geriatrics is a real asset.
- Ability to unite and work interdisciplinarily around a common vision for optimal care of residents and their relatives.
- Kindness, respect, and humanity towards the elderly person and their relatives.
- Excellent stress management and emotional control.
- Professionalism, sense of responsibility, and ability to analyze clinical situations.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written).
- Good command of computer tools (DIR – Sadies) and targeted handovers.
- Knowledge of the Plaisir evaluation method is an asset.
