To support the current rapid expansion in the market demand for our products, the e-Transport Support group is looking, for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, for a:
Industrialization & Methods Engineer
The role is at the interface between the engineering department, R&D and production. It involves translating the product developed by the development departments into products that can be manufactured at low cost, high speed, and high quality.
Role & Responsibilities
• Control and validate the data coming from the Engineering Departments through the PDM system, for new projects or in case of modifications done through an ECR.
• Transform engineering BoM to manufacturing BoM to feed the ERP system.
• Create and administrate the items, mBoM and routines in the ERP system (MS Dynamics / Business Central).
• Participate to the tests done in production (assembly, controls, …) in the various phases of the projects in order to prepare the documentation linked (work instructions, controls instructions, packing instructions, …).
• Prepare and administrate the instructions and the forms used to validate the job done at each step of the production process in collaboration with the various departments involved (Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics).
• Create, update, manage or participate to the establishment of customers and subcontractors’ documents during development and ramp-up phase (PFMEA, control plans, manufacturing process flows, routine tests procedures, labelling and packaging procedures, technical specifications, …).
• Participate to the administration of the data in the MES of our automated production line of modules.
• Propose solutions to improve industrial performance.
• Ensure technical assistance in production.
Skills & Experience
• Technical background engineer.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position, if possible in a batteries’ assembly company acting in automotive, railway or marine industries.
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics (ERP system) is an asset.
