Administrative Manager of the Leenaards Memory Center
The Leenaards Memory Center, attached to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, is looking for an administrative manager at 80%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Clinical Neurosciences includes the Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neuropsychology and Neurorehabilitation Services, the Leenaards Memory Center, the Neuroscience Research Center, and the Spinal Surgery Service. It offers integrated and personalized care to patients suffering from diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, from brain to muscle.
The Leenaards Memory Center, inaugurated in 2013 and directed by Prof. Allali, is a true reference center for Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive disorders related to advanced age.
Mission
Within an interdisciplinary team composed of doctors and psychologists:
- You ensure the organizational and financial management of the administrative part of the service, anticipating workload and staffing, participating in resource management, and guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, deliverables, and administrative indicators
- You supervise the administrative staff of the service, supporting employees in their development, ensuring good working conditions, and leading team meetings
- You support the head of service in administrative management and provide executive secretarial services, organizing meetings, monitoring projects, and overseeing logistics and management of events and invoices
- You ensure the updating and application of internal and external processes and procedures, guaranteeing compliance and efficiency of administrative practices
- You are the IT contact person for your area and manage the logistical organization of the service.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee with a federal maturity certificate or an equivalent qualification, complemented by confirmed training or experience in management and administration
- You have at least 5 years of experience in public administration or at least 2 years in a similar position at CHUV
- You express yourself fluently, both orally and in writing, in French
- You demonstrate recognized leadership, developed interpersonal skills, and good stress resistance
- You know how to plan, organize, and support your team professionally while promoting interprofessional collaboration and patient orientation
- You show diplomacy, listening skills, autonomy, and a keen sense of communication and confidentiality
- You master office tools (Microsoft Office suite) as well as CHUV-specific IT applications
