The Vocational and Continuing Education Center for Health and Social Professions St.Gallen (BZGS) trains around 3000 apprentices and students in various professions of basic education and further training in the fields of health, social affairs, and home economics. The BZGS is a dynamic and innovative competence center with 4 locations and around 200 employees.
The Custerhof at the Rheineck location was built in the years 1750/53. Teaching buildings, administrative buildings, historic boarding school, nursery, nursery buildings, and a large park area make up the charm of this site.

What to expect
- You plant, care for, and nurture our green friends with expertise and passion, from the delicate flower to the stately tree – and know exactly what makes them happy
- From the chainsaw to the lawnmower, you master your tools and ensure everything runs smoothly
- When it snows, you ensure clear and safe paths
- Together with your team colleagues, you actively clean our buildings and rooms
- Repair and maintenance work on buildings, technical systems, machines, and the site enrich your daily work
- In the absence of the Head of Housekeeping, you take over his deputy role, and if suitable, you can assume the function of "Deputy Head of Housekeeping"
- Respectful interaction with teachers, learners, and external parties
What distinguishes you
- Completed vocational training EFZ (landscaping or production)
- All-rounder also in cleaning and general housekeeping
- Enjoyment in park, lawn, and flower meadow care and shrub pruning
- Care of indoor greenery
- Independent, committed, and reliable working style
- Enjoy working in a team and interacting with different people in a school
- Winter service, short weekend shifts, and simple IT tasks do not deter you
