In the Mechanical and Climate Laboratory, you work at the forefront of technological developments and contribute to making our high-voltage products safer, more environmentally friendly, and more efficient.
As a Test Engineer, you are part of a dedicated team that not only tests high-voltage products and drive systems under extreme climatic conditions and mechanical endurance stress but also actively participates in the development of new products, defines measurement methods, and further develops the laboratory.
Our laboratory acts as an independent certification body and makes a significant contribution to quality assurance.
This position is not a routine task – here you can work creatively, develop new testing methods, and find solutions when processes do not work. Your contribution is crucial to the quality and reliability of our innovative solutions.
What you can achieve
Conducting development and type tests in the Mechanical and Climate Laboratory
Independent handling of customer orders – from offer preparation through planning and execution of tests to reporting and commercial billing
Close cooperation with internal specialist departments as well as external customers and observers
Development of new measurement methods and participation in the procurement of new laboratory equipment
Continuous optimization of testing and work processes within the team
What you bring with you
Completed studies in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering (FH or university) or a comparable education
Precise and quality-conscious working style
Reliability, commitment, and enthusiasm for technical tasks
Experience in a laboratory environment or in testing technical components is an advantage
Creativity and problem-solving skills – you develop new methods and find solutions when processes do not fit
Interest in the continuous further development of laboratory equipment and testing processes
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
