• Welcome guests upon their arrival with courtesy, a smile, and professionalism, representing the image, style, and standards of the establishment.
• Quickly identify reservations, verify details (allergies, preferences, special events), and escort guests to their tables under the best conditions.
• Efficiently manage the seating plan and table rotations in coordination with the maître d’ or head waiter to optimize flow while ensuring guest comfort.
• Answer phone calls and emails to record, modify, or cancel reservations, ensuring rigorous follow-up via the reservation systems in place.
• Work closely with the dining room and kitchen teams to anticipate needs, adjust plans based on arrivals, and ensure smooth service.
• Be attentive to guests’ specific requests (birthdays, seating preferences, dietary restrictions) and accurately communicate them to the relevant teams.
• Ensure that reception areas, the restaurant entrance, and menus are always impeccable, tidy, and compliant with the house presentation standards.
• Provide occasional support to the dining service if necessary (setting up, menus, cloakroom), depending on activity peaks and operational needs.
• Keep an up-to-date record of reservations, no-shows, and special requests to facilitate customer follow-up and attendance analysis.
• Actively participate in pre-service briefings and rigorously apply instructions given by management.
