Embedded SW Development Engineer

Contrinex is leading in position sensors for Industry 4.0 applications.

 

Main tasks

Embedded Software and Application Software

• Embedded Software development on STM32 microcontrollers (C)
• Modelling, development, qualification and documentation of embedded software
• Application Software development on a PC platform (C#, Python)

Hardware Development

• Hardware development using Contrinex ASICs, STM32 microcontrollers or others ARM based microcontrollers.
• Radio-Frequency optimization & tests, using modules with integrated antenna
• Fieldbuses interfaces (IO-link, RS232 …)

Safety Light Curtain Development

• Safety Light Curtain product upgrade
• Coordination with TÜV-SÜD

Required qualifications and experience

• Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, automation engineering, communications engineering
• Embedded software programming in C language
• Embedded hardware design (ARM Cortex-Mx / STM32 ecosystem)
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (SPI, Ethernet, Bluetooth, IO-link)
• Experience with µC programming and real-time applications
• Ability to design mathematical algorithms and handle their implementation in programs
• Good knowledge of Functional Safety, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or other related standards is a plus
