The EKT Group has been supplying the people of Thurgau safely and reliably with energy and data since 1912 and provides services for companies, municipalities & schools as well as private individuals. The corporate group, headquartered in Arbon, employs a total of 200 dedicated staff and trains apprentices in five professions. We are looking for a Technical Caretaker 100% (m/f) for our two locations Sulgen and Arbon from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

Your tasks: 

• Monitoring, maintenance and inspection of technical facilities 
• Initiating and carrying out immediate measures in case of malfunctions in the systems 
• Independent completion of minor repairs in all areas 
• Accompanying third parties during service and maintenance work
• Willingness to perform cleaning and surrounding area work 
• Quality control and supervision of external cleaning staff
• Procurement of consumables in cooperation with logistics

Your profile/requirements: 

• Technical training such as plumber, electrician, heating or ventilation fitter, maintenance specialist
• Many years of professional experience as a caretaker
• Technical understanding and manual skills 
• Independent, precise and reliable way of working 
• Resilient, committed, flexible and service-oriented personality 
• Team player
• Good IT user skills 
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written 
• Neat appearance and impeccable reputation
• Driving licence category B and BE
