Sales & Therapy Specialist Structural Heart - Switzerland

     

Stellenbeschreibung

Structural heart disease encompasses a range of conditions, from acquired valvular disease to congenital defects of the valves or other heart structures. And we’re at the forefront of transforming structural heart therapies, leading the development of more advanced solutions for patient care. This position will be primarily responsible for providing clinical case coverage of our Structural Heart Transcatheter technologies.

Abbott Switzerland is looking for a

SALES & THERAPY SPECIALIST STRUCTURAL HEART (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • As Sales and Therapy Specialist, located in our Swiss affiliate, you will help manage the entire patient pathway management

  • Starting from patient selection to proctoring procedures in the catch lab / hybrid room. In providing clinical coverage, the therapy specialists train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, and ancillary personnel on the use of transcatheter technologies and provide technical support to physicians during procedures.

  • Strong technical product and procedure knowledge: training clinicians and providing technical assistance during procedures, including trouble-shooting

  • Responsible for data dissemination in his/her sites and among referral chain.

  • Responsible for managing and obtaining results from a variety of outside constituencies. As such, you will need to be extremely versatile and entrepreneurial.

QUALIFICATION:


  • Medical Clinical Support and Sales Experience strongly preferred

  • Fluent in German and good language skills in English, French and Italian are an additional plus

  • Computer skills (Word / Excel / PPT)

  • Strong technical product and procedure knowledge, including trouble-shooting

  • Strong clinical knowledge: ability to interpret clinical study data

  • Leadership skills: able to influence a variety of clinician personality types

  • Communication and interpersonal skills: able to deliver clinical, procedural, technical information in a precise and concise way, able to build relationships

  • Compliance in highly regulated environment: respect all the quality rules set by SH

  • Strong analytical skills: able to identify and resolve issues and to adapt best practices across institutions. Entrepreneurial and creative in solution finding solution.

  • Ability to work in a cath lab (in lead) at least several days per week

  • Willingness to travel extensively (around 80-90% of the time)
