Icelandic Teacher
Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18 representing more than 130 nationalities. Our 1,250 staff members from around the world are spread across our three campuses (La Grande Boissière and the Nations Campus in Geneva, La Châtaigneraie in the canton of Vaud).
Within our 7 schools, our students benefit from international education and very high-quality bilingual support.
To fulfill our mission of "Educating students to be citizens of the world with the courage and ability to create together a just and joyful tomorrow," every staff member can rely on our hundred years of experience, our constant willingness to innovate, as well as our strong humanitarian values. Thanks to our Ecolint Institute, we are committed to offering excellent training opportunities to our staff.
The La Châtaigneraie campus is nestled in the heart of the picturesque hills and villages of Founex, overlooking Lake Geneva, not far from Geneva. Combining historic and modern buildings, the campus consists of a primary school and a middle/high school hosting about 1,600 students. We are proud to be an IB World School and also offer our students the possibility to prepare for the Swiss Maturity. Our programs are based on the IB "Learner Profile," a set of ideals that inspire, motivate, and guide the school's work, helping students become more thoughtful, responsible, and caring global citizens. Cultivating these qualities is at the heart of our mission. The international teaching team is committed to supporting and valuing the diversity of our students.
