We are expanding our Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF) business, the world's premier manufacturer of fluff and specialty pulp with its EMEA headquarters in Geneva. Reporting to the Sales Director EMEA, we have an immediate opening for
to lead and execute the GCF commercial strategies with absorbent hygiene producers managing key EMEA accounts either directly or through trading partners to maximize profitable volume/mix and value proposition across market cycles.
Key accountabilities include:
- Drive all sales and commercial activities for all major GCF product families using structured account plans to ensure engagement and visibility across all stakeholders, and achieve organization goals
- Lead complex multi-year contracts through negotiation execution, execution and follow-up with designated accounts
- Manage customer centric pillars to support supply-chain chain synchronization, operational stability, product safety, innovation and mega-trends in environmental and forest sustainability Stewardship space
- Lead strategic initiatives and synergies opportunities across product lines and functional/geographic areas for value-creation and profitability enhancement efforts
- Actively partner with Supply Chain, Marketing, Sustainability, Product Development, E-business, and Manufacturing teams to ensure we are able to meet the objectives set for our customers
- Manage the credit and risk portfolio of our customers along with the credit teams to properly managing our receivables
- Understand the dynamics of the pulp markets and competitor capabilities, and effectively communicate the impacts to the appropriate people throughout the organization
- Provide annual budgetary projections and monthly customer forecasts
- Facilitate customer technical issues by working with cross-functional business resources
- Foster and embrace the new virtual way of doing business
Candidate’s profile
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on sales experience, preferably in absorbent hygiene business or pulp market
- M.S. Business, Engineering, Pulp & Paper or related field of study
- Strong aptitude in working remotely with cross boarder teams
- Proven understanding and experience of manufacturing complex and international supply chain and logistics
- Successful track record of developing and managing long-term customer relationship
- Experienced negotiator with large scale commercial companies using structured approach
- Fluent oral and written English (C2), mastering French and/or Italian will be a plus
- Able and willing to travel more than 50% within EMEA and US with flexible hours
- Swiss resident or EU national
