- Service Delivery: You ensure that our infrastructure (storage, compute, network, VDI, etc.) is always available and performant – of course according to SLA and KPI
- Incident and Problem Management: You proactively monitor systems, quickly resolve disruptions, and minimize impacts on the business
- Change Management: You plan and execute changes to our infrastructure – with a focus on stability, security, and proper documentation
- Continuous Improvement: Through targeted use of automation, monitoring, and security tools, you identify optimization potentials in infrastructure operations
- Supplier Management: You manage external service providers and manufacturers and take care of contracts and SLA management
- Strategic Planning: You help shape our IT infrastructure strategy and align it with future requirements
- Compliance and Governance: You ensure that standards and guidelines (ISO, GDPR, PCI DSS) are adhered to
- Stakeholder Management: You keep internal stakeholders regularly and transparently informed and actively involve them in the decision-making process.
- Projects: You contribute your know-how in migration and upgrade projects as well as in customer projects related to infrastructure
Your Profile
- Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in operating and supporting IT infrastructures in complex environments, ideally in output management
- Solid knowledge in IT service management (ITIL), especially in incident, problem, change, and request processes
- Practical experience in process integrations in ITSM environments such as OTRS or Jira Service Management
- Ideally deep knowledge in several of the following areas:
- Operating systems: Linux, Windows
- Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Specialized applications such as Control-M, Domtrac, POSY, Compart, and Prisma
- Data platforms such as Splunk or ELK
- Secure file transfer applications such as Axway Secure MFT or Progress MFT
- Hands-on experience in deployment and patch management
- Basic knowledge in IT compliance, data protection, and governance requirements (ISAE, ISO27001, PCI-DSS 4)
- Analytical thinking, structured working method, and high personal responsibility in implementing improvements and projects
- Project experience and initial leadership experience are warmly welcome
