 The school seeks to appoint a suitably qualified 

School Counsellor

to join the school from:  as soon as possible or August 2023

Candidates are expected to fully contribute to staff and student wellbeing across all aspects of our curriculum including boarding.

JOB PURPOSE

1. To provide high-quality counselling and support services to students and staff.

2. To work within the school’s systems to coordinate the effective delivery of wellbeing and support services to students and staff. 

3. To provide one on one counselling for students and staff as required.

4. To provide support, guidance and advice to the school and current parents on welfare matters.

5. To liaise closely with the School Counsellor and Mental Health Lead.

6. To liaise, where appropriate, with external welfare services and health professionals. 

7. To contribute to safeguarding practices.

8. To be part of the wider wellbeing team.

1. Be available on call for emergencies as required.
