Embedded Full Stack Software Developer
Our transversal Group Technology R&D is looking for Embedded Full Stack Software Developers to implement a new Embedded Backend platform linked to our Automation Solution.
You will be working in an Industrial environment with embedded equipment and closely partner with cross functional teams and experts in our organization.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices. The site offers an idyllic work environment. In the countryside and close to major highways, it is also well served by public transport. It offers many amenities, such as a corporate restaurant, sports fields, a fitness and a nursery. The facilities have been recently renovated and represent a model for sustainable development.
You will be working in an Industrial environment with embedded equipment and closely partner with cross functional teams and experts in our organization.
In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
- Work with a Product Line to develop realtime processes and setup/adapt the backend
- Setup/adapt backend microservices, database and deployment
- Develop/maintain/improve the embedded machine automation
- Work with Azure DevOps tools, including the creation of automated testing and deployment pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements using software architecture best practices
- Definition of test specifications and implementation of automated tests
- Writing documentation in English
For this function you bring the following :
- Experience with embedded Realtime (RT-OS) frameworks using at least of the following : C /C++/Delphi
- Experience with modern micro service frameworks (Node.js, .Net Core) using JavaScript, TypeScript, C#
- Experience in using and configuring databases (especially PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge in OPC-UA
- Knowledge with containerization technologies as Docker
- Experience in the usage and design of REST APIs and knowledge about automated testing of micro services is helpful (integrated in DevOps Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline is a plus
- Team spirit oriented

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
- Very good spoken and written English and French desirable
