Operations Manager Gravel and Concrete Plant (m/f/d)

For our gravel and concrete plant «Hardwald» in Unterengstringen, we are looking for a committed and assertive leader. In this key role, you will take responsibility for the operational business and actively shape the further development of our production processes together with your team.

• Overall responsibility for the efficient and trouble-free operation of our gravel and concrete plant «Hardwald»
• Leadership, promotion, and further development of the plant team in the areas of production, technology, and maintenance
• Ensuring forward-looking production planning as well as compliance with quality standards and timely delivery readiness
• Continuous optimization of operational processes in the areas of gravel extraction, processing, and concrete production
• Responsibility for compliance with regulations in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, and environmental protection
• Planning, control, and implementation of maintenance and investment projects
• Close cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g. e.g. sales, scheduling, technology) as well as external partners and authorities
• Regular reporting to management or the head of operations

• Completed technical basic training (e.g. construction machinery mechanic, polymechanic) with business management further education at HF/FH level (or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in employee leadership as well as in the operation and maintenance of production facilities – ideally in the building materials industry
• Knowledge in gravel and/or concrete production is an advantage
• Strong organizational talent, entrepreneurial thinking, solution orientation, and assertiveness
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working
• Confident handling of IT applications (MS Office, ERP systems) as well as very good German skills are required
