Senior GL Accountant

For one of our clients, working in medical devices sector based in Nyon, we are looking for a:

Senior GL Accountant

Available from April 2023 for a temporary mission until March 2024 - 100%

• Reconcile assets and liabilities accounts

• In charge of various activities related to the monthly closing

• Follow-up on intercompany accounts

• Calculate pre-paid expenses, accruals

• Prepare various reports and financial statements for our U.S. headquarters 

• Maintain the database for the fixed asset system

• Perform other various general accounting processes

• Overall audits support including US GAAP, Sox, operational, financial

• Preparation of VAT returns

• Work on any specific project related to accounting/compliance and related tax aspects

• Commercial background studies in accounting

• 3-6 years of professional experience within an accounting environment

• Fluent French and English.

• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel

• Knowledge of US GAAP and basic understanding of Sox

• Be able to work in a team, but also independently
• Knowledge of Oracle GL is a plus.
