To complete our train driver team, we are looking for a motivated individual as a train driver (trainee) Cat. B100 for WSB at the locations Menziken or Schöftland starting June 1, 2026.
Your tasks
- You safely, punctually, comfortably, and energy-consciously operate our trains on the Menziken – Aarau – Schöftland (WSB) route
- You prepare our trains for operation with technical and operational checks
- In case of unforeseen events, you carry out troubleshooting on the vehicles entrusted to you
- You take over customer service and customer information on unattended trains
- If needed, you can complete additional training on other AVA networks/routes
Your profile
- Completion of at least a 3-year recognized vocational training (EFZ) or Matura is mandatory
- Enjoyment of irregular working hours (shift and weekend work)
- You like to take responsibility and enjoy working with people
- Willingness to undergo extensive training to become a train driver Cat. B100
- Good health as well as good, healthy hearing and vision
