Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge and basic understanding of the futures markets used to hedge physical exposure in commodities
• Establishment of provisional prices (proforma prices) for physical contracts
• Execution of futures pricing orders, rolling futures contracts, and updating pricing files
• Price finalization and settlement with customers
• Contract follow up with customers to ensure physical signatures are obtained
• Monitoring and updating trade files with profit and loss estimates, changes to market prices, and assisting with accruals for freight, demurrage, brokers, etc.
• Monitoring and assisting with foreign currency exposures
• Issuing purchase and sales contracts

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years related commodity execution experience
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, other languages are welcome
• Business Administrations, Accounting, Finance or Economics degree, or equivalent experience
• Well organized, motivated, dynamic, and eager to work
